How do I wash my peshtemal?

Machine wash cold to warm (85 to 100°F) on a gentle cycle. Skip bleach and fabric softener, then tumble dry low or line dry.

Why does my new towel feel thin or stiff?

Flat-woven cotton opens up with washing. After three or four washes it is noticeably softer and more absorbent.

Will the colors fade?

Wash dark and bright towels separately the first few times and dry out of direct midday sun to keep colors rich.

What size are the beach towels?

Our beach towels are 72" x 40" (183 x 102 cm); the Two-Tone Stripe Duo is 71" x 39".

Is it really sand-free?

Nothing on a beach is truly sand-free, but a flat weave has no loops to trap sand, so one good shake clears it.

Can I use it as a bath towel?

Yes. Many customers use peshtemals in the bathroom, as a throw, picnic blanket, sarong or gym towel.
